Services & Treatment

The Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Program serves more than 500 children each year. Our patients are diagnosed with a wide variety of cleft/craniofacial issues, each which can be treated by our skilled team of specialists.

Children born with facial birth defects may experience communication problems (e.g., speech and language disorders, hearing loss), abnormal facial appearance and impaired facial function, impaired dental function, and psychosocial and quality of life issues due to their appearance and self-esteem.

Our specialized team assists these children to achieve their maximum potential. They provide on-going assessment, treatment planning, case management and coordination, follow-up, and treatment intervention.
