Meet the Team
Carrie Bailey, M.A. - Faculty Development Specialist - Carrie provides course development and faculty support to the School of Nursing. As a Quality Matters [QM] Peer Reviewer with over ten years of experience teaching college English and literature courses, Carrie joins OHSU with special interest in student engagement, retention, and professional development support. She graduated from University of Notre Dame and University of California.
Patricia Delich, Ed.D. - Faculty Development Specialist - Patricia comes to OHSU with a wealth of experience. She holds a doctorate degree in educational technology from Pepperdine University and has more than 14 years experience guiding faculty with their online course development. Patricia is also an active filmmaker and podcaster.
Amy Forester, M.F.A.
- Faculty Development Specialist - Supports faculty in the Department
of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology as well as School of
Public Health. She taught college English and composition for many years
before coming to OHSU. Amy is originally from Portland and is a
graduate of University of Oregon and University of Minnesota.
Katherine Forney, M.Ed.
- Media Development Specialist - Expanded her online course development
skills and media production expertise at Spokane Falls Community
College before coming to OHSU. She received her degree from Eastern
Jonathan H., M.F.A.
- Project Coordinator - Provides project planning and coordination of
TLC activities and marketing efforts. His background is in creative
strategy, data management, and quick-witted one-liners. He is a vocalist
and screenprinter in his time outside of the TLC.
Jim Heller, M.Ed.
- School of Nursing Course Development Manager - Jim earned his Master
of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University
and coordinates the relationship between the TLC and the School of
Nursing. He specializes in undergraduate nursing course development.
Sarah Jacobs, M.Ed. -
Faculty Development Specialist - Provides faculty support and helps
with assessment in the School of Medicine to foster student-centric
learning that will improve the delivery of health care. Sarah is
originally from Portland and is a graduate of University of Oregon and
Portland State University.
Janet Wheeler, M.Ed. - Educational
Development Specialist - Provides support and expertise in curricular
transformation to the School of Medicine and Graduate Studies programs
at OHSU. She received her degree from the University of West Georgia.
Shoshana Zeisman-Pereyo, Ed.D. - Student Learning Support Specialist/Assistant Professor - Provides learning support to students across all programs at OHSU. Shoshana has over 14 years of experience working with students in higher education and is committed to student success. She earned her doctorate in adult education from Portland State University. Shoshana has called Portland, Oregon home for many years and is originally from Texas.
