The Incidental Fee Task Force is comprised of volunteer members from the Student Council and administration from the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. The members of the IFTF are not determined until the end of January of each academic year. Typically, the president of the OHSU Student Council, executive council members and other interested students from each school are part of the IFTF.
The IFTF reviews the current budget, combined with projected student numbers and budget, and presents this information to students at a Townhall Meeting in early spring. Students are polled through a survey that is distributed each year to address the needs of the students and obtain feedback regarding OHSU Student Council services and incidental fees. The IFTF makes a recommendation to Provost about the budget for the upcoming academic year based on these data.
