Welcome Back Barbeque & Campus Services Orientation

Each fall, the Graduate Student Organization (GSO) hosts a Welcome Back Barbeque for new and returning students at the end of September.  In conjunction with the Welcome Back Barbeque the University hosts a Campus Services Orientation for all new and returning students at the OHSU Student Center.  Participants in this event receive a commemorative OHSU pint glass to take to the GSO barbeque.  In addition to learning about campus services and student interest groups available to students, the Student Health Center is on-site to administer seasonal flu vaccines. Volunteer Recognition and Awards Ceremony

The Student Volunteer Recognition and Awards Ceremony arose as a way to recognize and celebrate the hard work, generosity, and compassion displayed by all OHSU students.  The volunteer work provided by the students from all schools, campuses and programs is both inspiring and vastly important.  Each spring, the OHSU Student Council hosts this recognition event, bringing together student, faculty, and administrators from across campuses to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism and the values that are shared in striving to make this world a better place.  More information about Student Council.
