Whom We Serve
We serve Oregon Health & Sciences University students and postdoctoral fellows at the Portland campus on Marquam Hill. All current registered students in degree and certificate training programs, who are assessed the required health fees in addition to their tuition at OHSU are eligible for health and counseling services at the JBT Health & Wellness Center. Postdoctoral fellows are eligible for services at a .5 FTE or higher.
Eligibility for new students begins on the first day of the month their classes start. In addition to students, we also make available the services of the JBT Health & Wellness Center to the spouse or registered domestic partner of an eligible student or postdoctoral fellow. Enrollment times and registration rules and affidavits for domestic partnership apply and these are available upon request at the JBT Health & Wellness administrative office (Room 6). Health insurance for spouses, registered domestic partners and dependents is also available and eligibility rules and restricted enrollment times apply.

Hours of Operation
Appointments:
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please call 503 494-8665 to make an appointment.
All walk-in patients are triaged by nursing staff. While we always do our best to meet all health care needs of our patients, an appointment with a provider may or may not be available. Students and postdoctoral fellows are urged to call in advance for an appointment, even the same day, if they have an urgent or acute medical problem.
After-Hours
For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency facility.
For urgent problems after hours, call 503 494-8311 and ask for the JBT Health & Wellness provider on call.
Location & Parking
We are located in the basement of Baird Hall. Primary care services are in room 18 and our counseling, wellness and administrative offices are in room 6.
