OHSU

Co-Directors for simulation at OHSU Appointed

The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce that we have selected three Co-Directors to provide leadership for the Simulation program at OHSU.

Appointed individuals are  Jeffrey Gold MD, Jeanne-Marie Guise MD, MPH, and
Erica Mitchell MD, FACS. They will be responsible for leading a program of simulation for us for the next year across all schools, venues and the clinical enterprise.

Through shared leadership, they will build the academic and operational backbone for Simulation at OHSU, working in teams to lead our efforts.  As Simulation at OHSU prepares to grow through new facilities in 2014 in the new Collaborative Life Sciences Building, this group will leverage the simulation excellence and expertise that exists today within OHSU.  Building on this foundation, the Simulation Co-Directors are chartered to bring together our diverse simulation community, facilitate OHSU-wide efforts and advance OHSU's leadership in simulation. The Co-Directors will also represent Simulation at OHSU to the OHSU Foundation and interested local and national groups.

These positions will report directly to the Provost.
