Interests:
I am originally from the New England area and have lived in Alaska for 26 years. I am married with one grown daughter, 2 big dogs and a cat. I enjoy the Alaskan lifestyle and particularly cross country skiing and ocean boating. My favorite getaway is shrimping/fishing in Prince William Sound in the summer. I work with the Alaska Native population in an acute care setting. I enjoy mentoring staff nurses and interdisciplinary teams to engage in designing and implementing changes in their clinical practice that are based on evidence. My clinical background is adult critical care and I have experience in nursing education (service and academia) and management at various levels.
