Personal Interests:
Though I am not a native Oregonian, I have lived in Portland on and off since I was a teen. I returned to Portland in 2002 with my wife, Dominique, after we were both accepted into graduate programs at OHSU (she is now a nurse-midwife working with underserved women). We have three wonderful children and one more on the way! I am an avid cyclist and enjoy restoring and riding vintage racing bicycles. I also love playing the piano and try to carve out a bit of time each day to practice.
