Biography

Dr. Ranae Womack has been a faculty member at OHSU Ashland Campus since 2010. She teaches Population Health, Leadership and Management in Nursing, and Chronic Illness and End of Life. Prior to 2010, Dr. Womack served the Minnesota State Colleges and University System (MnSCU) from 1985-2009 as a coordinator of Native American Programs, faculty member and Chair of the Department of Nursing, and as the Dean of the College of Social and Natural Sciences. Her research and publication areas include, Native American Education, Diabetes in Native Americans, and Leadership in Nursing. Numerous grant projects were funded under her leadership as well as National, State, and local presentations.
