Note to Faculty and Staff

As a reminder, the work of developing a clear and aligned organizational structure is one of the strategic goals for the School of Nursing. A very specific goal is to strengthen the roles and functions of staff positions to increase alignment with missions, program functions, ILCs, and overall operational effectiveness. There have been meetings over the past year that provided essential information for making improvements and provided clarification of areas with increased and/or revised responsibility.
I thank faculty and staff for the countless meetings and support that have gone into this work. This has been a tremendous effort that is now reflected in a staff structure that reflects our current work and will support the structure of our school into the future.
As in all our work, we will continue to refine the structure as we move forward. Please contact me directly to let me know your thoughts and suggestions. Know that I continue to encourage input from all as we move forward.
