Biography

I am VA Nursing Academic Partnership (VANAP) clinical faculty. In this role, I work with students in clinical settings at the VA and partner with VA staff to improve health outcomes for the veteran population. My previous nursing experience includes school health and coordinating care for children with complex and chronic health conditions. My research focus is in topics related to mental health, social support in the adolescent population, and advance care planning. I primarily use qualitative methodology to understand people's experiences with health and health care and I am the founder and facilitator of the OHSU Qualitative Research Interest Group.
