Learning to be a nurse is a very exciting path to travel. I am honored to be with students during their journey. Most of my nursing career has been in the practice setting of medical oncology. My years of experience provide many examples of the patient and family illness experience. Discussing and working through these stories contribute to and enhance student learning.
