My research focuses on the transition to parenthood and early parenting experiences in high-risk contexts such as intimate partner violence, preterm birth, and multiple gestation. My methodological expertise is in qualitative research. I am currently accepting doctoral students with interests in family research, transition to parenthood, high-risk pregnancy and/or parenting, and qualitative research approaches.
