The OHSU Hartford Center is pleased to announce that Lily Lee, RN, MSN, GNP-BC was recently appointed Program Director for our award-winning Post-Master’s Certificate in Advanced Practice Gerontological Nursing (PMCO) program. Ms. Lee has worked as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Portland, Oregon since 2004, and was previously with the VAMC in South Carolina, in addition to her role as Adjunct Faculty for the OHSU School of Nursing since 2006. Her prior roles incorporated direct patient care, patient education, case management and research, as well as having served as a Primary Reviewer for two University Institutional Research Boards.

The PMCO is an innovative, intensive summer program offered through the OHSU School of Nursing. The training incorporates both didactic and clinical segments, and is designed to prepare graduates to serve a clientele of older adults within a variety of roles and settings in the health care system. The program was honored with an AACN (American Associate of Colleges of Nursing) Award for Excellence in Gerontological Nursing Education in 2008. Learn more about this program.
