Arlene Koon, RN, received her BSN from California State University, Humboldt, Arcata, CA. She has been a clinical instructor for the OHSU SON-La Grande Campus since 2005. She has instructed for OCNE 210B, 211B, 212B, and 322B. Her nursing emphasis has been as a clinic nurse of an internal medicine office, staff nurse of critical care, and medical-surgical nursing. In 1986, she co-founded Rager Emergency Services (RES), Ltd., Paulina, OR, which remains operable to date. She served as the RES medical officer, EMT, and CPR instructor.
