2014 Henrietta Doltz Puhaty Annual Lectureship

Wednesday, November 12, 2014  6 pm

Journalist, author and patient safety advocate Suzanne Gordon will introduce and direct a readers' theater production of Bedside Manners in the OHSU Auditorium on the Portland campus.

Bedside Manners is a dramatic teaching tool focusing on interprofessional education for healthcare teams, and the causes and consequences of ineffective communication and unprofessional behaviors between nurses and physicians. Through dramatic scenarios illustrating effective and non-effective communication between healthcare professionals, Bedside Manners triggers thoughtful discussion and collaborative problem solving.

Registration is free and available here. We will also be live-streaming the event - check back here from November 4 for the link.
