Karen Warren, B.S. '97

SoN Alumni Karen Warren passed away on 12/18/12 at the age of 37.

Karen Renae Warren was born in Goldendale, Washington on February 10, 1975 to Molly Viola (Bellamy) and Daniel Calvin Davidson. She grew up in Goldendale, on a farm near Blockhouse. She loved horses and ômotheringö her little brother, David. She graduated from Goldendale High School in 1993, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 1997 from Oregon Health Sciences University. Nursing was her passion, she practiced in Washington and Montana before returning to Goldendale in 2007 where she worked at Klickitat Valley Health eventually becoming Director of Nursing. In 2008 she founded the Community Christmas Store at Father's House Fellowship for the Hand Up Program. Karen enjoyed traveling, crafts, and entertaining guests. Her independent spirit, her love of life and adventure, and her generous nature gave joy to the people around her, but Karen found her greatest joy in her children. Karen passed away in Goldendale on December 18, 2012 at the age of 37. She will be missed by her son and daughter Cody and Crysta Warren of Goldendale; parents Daniel and Molly Davidson of Goldendale; brother and sister-in-law David and Amber Davidson, niece Miley and nephew Grady of Oak Harbor, Washington; grandmother Ruth Davidson of Goldendale; and numerous aunts and uncles. A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 22 at Mt. View Cemetery and a memorial service followed at Father's House Fellowship. Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.
