Sept. 23, 1946 July 20, 2013 We celebrate the life of Nancy Hudnut, who died of peritoneal cancer on Saturday, July 20. Nancy graduated from Cleveland High School in 1964 and the Univ. of Oregon School of Nursing (now OHSU), BS/RN in 1968. Nancy's nursing career spanned 40 years, most of it spent in the operating room at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. Nancy commanded a presence wherever she was, work, home and restaurants! Nancy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ed; sons, Peter (Charity), Kyle (Amy); and daughter, Lindsay (Chris) Sandor; and six grandchildren, Liliana and Julia, Andrew, Ethan and Owen, Evelyn. Special thanks to the staff of Legacy Hopewell House for the care they provided both Nancy and her family and friends. An open memorial will be held at the Oregon Golf Club on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 3 p.m. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society , donate.cancer.org or 800-227-2345, in Nancy's name.
