Over the past 25 years, the OHSU fibromyalgia (FM) research and treatment team, founded by Robert Bennett MD, has been engaged in a program of interprofessional FM research aimed at elucidating altered neuroendorine physiology in FM with a goal of matching pathophysiology with prescriptive treatments in exercise and pharmacology. Disciplines include nursing, rheumatology, physical, speech and occupational therapy, psychology and pain medicine. Funders include NIH, Industry, foundations and private donors.
