Collaboration

The OHSU National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Education has produced changes far beyond OHSU by initiating partnerships to improve nursing education in geriatrics in the Northwest region and by forming partnerships with clinical agencies to improve care for older adults. The Interim Dean of the School of Nursing, Dr. Christine Tanner; our clinical partners in the community; and our educational partners at regional schools of nursing remain enthusiastic and committed to our common goals of preparing nurse leaders to meet the challenges of caring for an aging population through the integration of practice, education, research, and policy.
