OHSU

ACLS, BLS, PALS

All residents and fellows must have BLS certification at all times and many residents/fellows must also have ACLS, PALS or NRP.  To learn which certification is required of you, please contact your program coordinator or GME.   The Graduate Medical Education Office will pay for all of these courses in advance if you follow the protocol as indicated.  For training through Portland Community College (PCC), the GME Office has a course list that includes a CRN number that you can use to have the GME Office billed directly.  For courses at OHSU, the GME Office will automatically be billed directly if you identify yourself as a resident/fellow upon registration.   Textbooks are available at the OHSU Bookstore and if you show them your resident/fellow ID badge, they will bill GME directly for the cost of the textbook.
