OHSU

ACLS/ATLS/BLS

The Office of Graduate Medical Education will pay for ACLS, BLS and NRP courses. For courses at OHSU, GME will be billed directly. In either case, the textbook is available at the OHSU bookstore, or the GME office. Residents/fellows may request that the cost of the textbook be charged directly to GME by identifying themselves as a resident/fellow at the bookstore.

Residents/fellows may register for an ACLS course at OHSU through the Department of Emergency Medicine. They will receive a CD for self study, an ACLS manual, and a software license number. After they have completed the computer training, residents/fellows must sign up for a MegaCode to complete the renewal process.

Residents/fellows may register for a PALS course at OHSU to find a class that fits their schedule and download the registration form. The registration form should be sent to Katy Campbell at mail code CDRC-P.

Residents/fellows may also register for a ACLS, BLS, PALS or NRP course at Portland Community College (PCC) or call 503-977-8888. For PCC courses, contact the GME office for PCC course lists to get a CRN number. The CRN number is used to bill GME directly.
