Dr. Patrick Brunett
Dr. Patrick Brunett is Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Designated Institutional Official at the OHSU School of Medicine. Dr. Brunett also serves on the Oregon Health Policy Board's Healthcare Workforce Committee and the Board of Directors of the Oregon Graduate Medical Education Consortium.
Dr. Brunett is Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine. He received his BA from UCLA and his MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Brunett is past director of the OHSU emergency medicine residency program and founding director of OHSU's EM education research fellowship. He is a Distinguished Educator in the Emergency Medicine Academy for Education Scholarship and has been recognized with the School of Medicine's Faculty Mentor of the Year Award, Faculty Excellence in Education Award, and J. David Bristow Award; the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine Impact Award; and twice as his department's Academic Instructor of the Year.
