Course Information

Dermatology for the Non-Specialist will cover a wide range of dermatologic problems commonly encountered by primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other primary care providers. Ample time will be provided for questions and interaction with course faculty.

  • Acne
  • Eczema 
  • Vulvar Disease
  • Alopecia
  • Wound Care
  • Pediatric Dermatology

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the activity, participants will be able to:

   • Develop targeted skin cancer screening and prevention efforts for patients at risk for skin cancer

   • Diagnose and treat alopecia and other hair disorders

   • Manage patients with vulvar disease

   • Create an effective treatment plan for patients with eczema

   • Assess and manage common wounds presented in the primary care setting
