Overview
The American College of Physicians Oregon Chapter Scientific Meeting consists of timely updates in topics relevant to the practicing physician, student research competitions, and valuable case studies and clinical vignettes. Topics to include: neurology, radiology, ophthalmology, chronic heart failure, diabetes, psychiatry, hospital medicine, and the physician's role in leading health care reform.Objectives
At the conclusion of this meeting, the participant will be able to:• Apply updated knowledge of internal medicine to clinical practice.
• Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in subspecialty medicine.
• Apply updated knowledge of colon cancer ophthalmology, psychiatry, radiology, chronic heart failure, diabetes, and GERD to clinical practice.
• Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in hospital medicine, general medicine, radiology, and ophthalmology.
