Course Information

OHSU Ob-Gyn faculty will share their expertise on clinically relevant topics through multi-disciplinary perspectives, informative plenary sessions, and point-counterpoint discussion on new developments and emerging concepts in women's health. This update is intended for providers of obstetrics, gynecology, family medicine and women's primary care, including family nurse practitioners, nurse midwives and other professionals in the women's health field.

Learning Objectives

  • Current management of irregular vaginal bleeding: At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees will be able to apply current guidelines concerning the diagnosis and treatment of irregular vaginal bleeding to their patient population.
  • Fetal impact of antidepressant use in pregnancy: Participants will demonstrate better understanding of the risks and benefits of treatment regimens concerning the potential impacts of treatment upon the fetus.
  • Iron deficiency in non-pregnant women: Attendees will be more able to recognize, diagnose and treat iron deficiency in non-pregnant women.
  • Transgender health: Participants will be able to utilize updated guidelines to help optimize care of transgender patients.
