Outreach Mission

Through a network of partnerships, OHSU is enhancing community-based care, serving Oregon’s most vulnerable citizens, increasing access to healthcare education, and bringing groundbreaking health research to rural communities. With more than 200 community service programs already in place, OHSU is improving the well-being of people across Oregon and throughout the region. Some of OHSU's most exciting work is done in our institutes and centers, many of which have programs that provide a rich variety of community services. In addition, OHSU offers a tremendous array of programs focused on particular issues--like the Poison Center--that offer important services to all Oregonians.
