Biography:

For the past two years, James has been in pursuit of his doctoral degree in Medical Physics through the jointly administered program between OHSU and OSU.  James' primary research interest is the application of cutting edge technology with emerging cancer treatment techniques to ensure proper mechanical operation to enhance patient safety.  His doctoral project uses optical dosimeters to measure the output of the INTRABEAM™ System, which is used for breast cancer intraoperative radiotherapy.
