The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine has many research resources available through OHSU's Research and Development Administration (RDA). RDA oversees all the research-related activities at OHSU and provides comprehensive support throughout the life of a project.

Research Grants and Contracts (RGC)
Research Grants and Contracts is OHSU's pre-award administration unit, responsible for all sponsored projects except those funded by industry or corporate sources.
- Provides follow-up with funding agencies on pending applications
- Coordinates set-up documents with Sponsored Projects Administration when proposals are awarded
- Coordinatess formal correspondence and information to and from potential sponsors
- Negotiates award language when necessary
- Creates, negotiates and finalizes subawards
Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA)
Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) advises and assists Principal Investigators and their staff in the fiscal management of sponsored project awards and acts as the institutional intermediar between the OHSU community and external agencies that provide their funding.
Technology Transfer and Business Development (TTBD)
Technology Transfer and Business Development partners with industry to collaborate and conduct research, license promising discoveries and intellectual property, and launch companies based on OHSU technologies.
Research Funding and Development Services (RFDS)
Research Funding and Development Services is a central resource to help investigators at OHSU find funding, assess funding strategy, and write better grants.
OHSU Research Integrity Office (ORIO)
OHSU Research Integrity Office is charged with protecting and assuming compliance under laws that govern the rights and welfare of human and animal subjects, and it carries out the oversight of basic and applied scientific research at OHSU.
All employees involved in research at OHSU are required to complete the CoIR disclosure and RCR education. These two online courses/disclosures ensure that OHSU's personnel are in compliance with policies preventing any conflict of interests. Each must be completed annually.
