Xinbo Zhang, PhD
RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Dr. Zhang obtained his PhD in Biostatistics from University of Southern California in 2009. He moved to Portland and joined Casey Eye Institute in 2010. His research interest in Ophthalmology is to use parameters measured by imaging devices to predict glaucoma progression. Currently Dr. Zhang is supported by NIH grant "Advanced Imaging in Glaucoma Study," which develops cutting edge technology in optical coherence tomography for glaucoma prediction and detection. Dr. Zhang joined The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine in December, 2011 to promote his interest in statistical research, which includes missing data method, survival analysis, and methods for longitudinal studies.
