Current Research:

The Western States Node of the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN).  The Western States Node is one of the 13 research centers testing emerging pharmacotherapies and behavioral therapies for the treatment of alcohol and drug use disorders in community treatment settings. With its multisite trials the CTN ensures research results are translated to physicians, clinicians, providers, and patients.

The education core of the Methamphetamine Abuse Research Center at Oregon Health and Science University and the Portland VA Medical Center. The MARC studies the multiple facets of Methamphetamine addiction in order to characterize the drug at the molecular, neurochemical, anatomical, behavioral, and clinical levels.

Conference coordinator of the 2013 Addiction Health Services Research Conference which will be held at the Benson Hotel, October 23rd – 25th.
