Dec 2011  Robert Butler, Ph.D., Professor of Psychiatry officially receives the first year of his sub-award (R21) from National Institute of Child Health and Human Development in the amount of $57,166 for his two year project, "Mechanisms, Models, Measurement, and Management in Pain Research." The total amount for the two year project will be $132,931.

Sept 2011  William Hoffman, M.D., Professor of Psychiatry receives a research grant (R21) from NIH in the amount of $330,750 in total for his two year project, "Neural Phenotypes of Impulsive Choice in Recovery from Alcohol Dependence."
