Stipends and Benefits
Salaries for housestaff officers for July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015. Annual
salaries are established in December each year and will be updated at
Three weeks (15 working days) of vacation.
Three weeks (15 working days) of sick time.
A $450 credit if you or your spouse/domestic partner choose to deliver your baby at OHSU.
OHSU residents/fellows are provided various plans from which to chose for medical, dental, vision, prescription and life insurances, with optional coverages including disability, AD&D and family coverage. Basic coverage begins for the residents/fellows on their first day, with changes/family members added the first day of the month following their enrollment. OHSU pays for most of the costs of the monthly premium for employees and part of the costs of the monthly premium for spouses and children.
Funds for meals are provided for on call residents at both OHSU and the VA Medical Center.
Free confidential mental health services for all residents through the Resident Wellness Center.
Bike incentive program including free bike valet.
