Biography:
Dr. Ey has a longstanding interest in promoting resiliency (the ability to “bounce back” from stress and adversity) in youth and adults. Using cognitive-behavioral interventions and positive psychotherapy strategies, she works with individual children, adolescents and adults to develop more optimistic attitudes and powerful coping strategies to overcome challenges and have more satisfying lives at work and home. Dr. Ey has a particular interest in anxiety and perfectionism and uses graduated exposure and exposure/response prevention for treatment of anxiety disorders in youth and adults. Dr. Ey also is involved in coaching and counseling to promote emotional well-being and career satisfaction in physicians-in-training through the OHSU Resident and Faculty Wellness Program.
