Biography:
Dr. Carson has worked extensively with patients suffering from persistent pain, including those with fibromyalgia, chronic back pain, cancer, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and sickle cell disease. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Dr. Carson taught meditation world-wide for many years, and has conducted innovative research on the application of meditation and yoga-based interventions as adjunctive treatments for various conditions.
