Why Oregon

I was drawn here because it seemed like the program where I would be the happiest, and I haven't regretted my decision for a minute.  My colleagues are fun, interesting, and supportive, the nurses and auxiliary staff are fun to work with; everyone here takes pride in their work. Portland has a relatively low cost-of-living, great neighborhoods, fantastic variety and quality of food, and last-minute getaways to the coast or the Columbia Gorge are very doable — even on an intern's schedule.
