Biosketch

Dr. Cedfeldt is the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program and in charge of curriculum development and resident wellness.  She is also the Residency Program Site Director at the Portland VA Medical Center.  She is an Associate Professor of Medicine and a staff physician at the Portland VA Medical Center where she attends on the inpatient service and in primary care clinic.  She is also the Education Consultant for the Division of Graduate Medical Education where she is the director for a series of workshops to enhance faculty development in clinical teaching and an active member of the Graduate Medical Education Research Group.   

Her research/scholarly interests focus on resident wellness, faculty and resident development as clinical teachers, and curriculum development in the following topics:  transitions of care, personal workstyles and effective teamwork, evidence based medicine, FDA approval processes, pharmaceutical marketing techniques and the pharmaceutical industry/physician relationship. 

When not at work she enjoys hiking, telemark skiing, and spending time with her husband and son.
