Fellowship training programs

The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension offers fellowships in Nephrology and Transplant Medicine. Fellows rotate at both the OHSU Hospital and the Portland VA Medical Center.

The application process for the 2016-17 Nephrology Fellowship and the 2016-17 Transplant Medicine Fellowship are now open.

Nephrology training program

The Nephrology training program offers a two-year clinical fellowship path and a three year academic physician scientist fellowship path. Both pathways lead to board eligibility in Nephrology. This program uses the ERAS and participates in The Match.

Transplant Medicine training program

The Transplant Medicine training program is one year in length. It prepares board eligible Nephrologists to become specialists in Transplantation Medicine. The program is accredited by the American Society of Transplantation. This program accepts applications directly and does not participate in The Match.
