Selected Research Projects 

Oregon Geriatric Education Center
PI: Elizabeth Eckstrom, MD, MPH
Funding Agency: Health Services Research and Administration
The goal of this program is to enhance geriatrics training for medical, nursing, pharmacy, social, and other professionals throughout the state of Oregon via evidence based practice programs. Currently, we are implementing and evaluating an interprofessional falls prevention program across the State of Oregon.

Geriatrics for Specialists Initiative
PI: Dawn, Dillman, MD;  OHSU GIM co-Investigator Elizabeth Eckstrom, MD, MPH
Funding Agency: Association of Specialty Professors
The goal of this project is to enhance geriatric competencies for residents in the Anesthesia Residency Program at OHSU. 

The Rural Older Adult Memory Study

Funding Agency: Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
The goal of this project is to dissemniate the Assessing Care of Vulnerable Elders measures for dementia to rural clinicians.
