Medical Students

Approximately 120 3rd year and 120 4th year medical students rotate on the various teaching services in the Department of Medicine.

The 3rd year students complete their Medicine Clerkship rotation at OHSU, the Portland VA Medical Center and various community teaching sites.

The 4th year students rotate through the Medicine Wards as Sub-Interns, on the various ICU/CCU Units, and on electives in the various Medicine Sub-Specialties.  Visiting students are also welcome to apply for a rotation on a Medicine Sub-Specialty service.
