Information for Candidates

Thank you for applying to OHSU!

Your interview will begin at 7:45am in Emma Jones Hall, room 326 and end at approximately 5:00pm.

Below you will find a few documents to help you prepare for your interview day. Let me know if you have any additional questions. If you find you are running late on your interview day, please leave me a message at 503-494-7592, or call the main line at 503-494-7591 and someone will help you.

Our program does not have a preferred hotel. The hotel list and map are include local hotels that offer a discounted rate for you. Please be sure to ask when reserving your room.

You and your family or traveling companion are invited to attend dinner with residents and faculty on the evening before your interview, beginning at 6:00pm. Directions will be emailed to you a few days in advance.

Directions to the campus include pictures to help you find our building. If driving, you will need to pick up a parking pass from me when you arrive. The physical address of our building is 3161 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, OR 97239, but you won't find us on map sites. Our building, Emma Jones Hall, is behind and past the Shriners' Children's hospital.

Combined Program interviews begin at 8:45am on Thursdays. Meet Stefan Shearer in Emma Jones Hall, room 18. He will have parking passes available. Your interview day will end by 3:30pm.
