Courtney Crawford, BS, joined the Department of Family Medicine in March 2012. She is a Senior Research Assistant on Dr. Jennifer DeVoe's FAMILY and CARDIAC grants looking at the impact of health policy changes on health care quality and use in Oregon. She has a BS in Micro and Molecular Biology from Portland State University, and is completing a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at OHSU. She has worked in the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at OHSU as a Biostatistics Teaching Assistant. Courtney also has a background in clinical veterinary medicine in primary care and emergency medicine, and has done benchwork in an evolutionary genetics laboratory at Portland State University. Her areas of interest are public health policy, mental health, and infectious disease.
