This is an annual event after Thanksgiving sponsored by Administration at OHSU Family Medicine. We place colorful containers throughout campus for donations of clean used or new socks, mittens, kit caps, sweaters, flannel shirts, coats and scarves.
The donations go to the OHSU Richmond Federally Qualified Health Center Look Alike Clinic for their families-in-need and to the CityTeam Ministries for the homeless. CityTeam is a non-profit organization serving the poor and homeless in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland and Philadelphia with partnerships in over 7 other countries around the world.
Since 1957, CityTeam has provided life-saving food, shelter, clothing, recovery programs, youth outreach, camps for at-risk inner city kids and other essential care 365 days a year.
