Application Process
Please read the application instructions completely prior to beginning the application process. Verify deadline and application requirements with the prospective program. Be sure to choose the application for the Biomedical Informatics Program.
Once the application and corresponding materials have been received, they are forwarded to the individual program admission committees for review. Each program notifies applicants of admission decisions in writing, no admission decisions are given over the telephone.
The programs reserve the right to review applications received after the deadline if space is available in the specialty area. Priority is given to applications that are complete by the application deadline. Please check with the program of interest for additional information.
All international student applicants are required to provide World Education Service (WES) International Credential Advantage Package (ICAP) credential evaluations for all foreign colleges attended. International applicants need to consult WES website for instruction and fees at www.wes.org. The applicant will be responsible for the full cost of this service. International applicants of all countries of origin will need to complete this service and no international applications will be reviewed without an accompanied WES ICAP evaluation.
Please have WES ICAP Credential Evaluations sent to:
OHSU School of Medicine Graduate Admissions
3181 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Mail Code L102-GS
Portland, OR 97239
If international applicants have already completed a similar credential evaluation through WES or another company, the Graduate Studies Office may evaluate on a case-by-case basis whether a WES ICAP will be needed.
