Geoffrey Schau

Geoff is a PhD student and National Library of Medicine fellow in the division of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at OHSU. His background is in biomedical and electrical engineering with emphasis on biomedical signal processing. Prior to joining OHSU, he worked for several years as an engineer in the applied research division of a multinational medical device manufacturing company. Presently, he is developing algorithmic strategies to model time-series genomic expression through embryonic development. His research interests are in statistical signal processing, developmental & cancer genomics, and next-generation sequencing.
