Section Summary
The Musculoskeletal section of Diagnostic Radiology provides a comprehensive and wide-range of services at OHSU. The section evaluates bones, joints, muscles, and nerves utilizing a complete spectrum of modalities, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, x-ray, and fluoroscopy. All studies are performed on state of the art equipment, utilizing the latest in imaging techniques. Studies are tailored for each patient in order to address the specific concerns of the referring clinician.
The section also offers a robust musculoskeletal interventional service at OHSU, including fluoroscopic-, and CT-guided joint
injections; CT-guided spine, pelvic, and extremity bone and soft tissue biopsies; ultrasound-guided biopsies, aspirations, and injections; and CT-guided osteoid osteoma RF (radiofrequency)
ablation.
All Musculoskeletal radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology and have completed musculoskeletal fellowship training. The staff works closely with orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, rheumatology, and other clinical services. Weekly case conferences are held with the rheumatology and orthopedic oncology services.
We are located on the 10th floor of OHSU hospital.
