Cody MacMillan, MD
Junior Chief Resident
Dr. Cody MacMillan obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Economics from the University of Oregon and his Medical Degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University. He completed his transitional year internship at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. His interests and activities include photography, swimming, and spending time with his family.
Brian Clark, MD, PhD
Dr. Brian Clark obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota, his PhD in Neuroscience and his Medical Degree from New York University. He completed his internship year in general surgery at the University of California San Francisco. Brian’s interests and activities include brain imaging, surfing, climbing and spending time outdoors.
Pegah Entezari, MD
Dr. Pegah Entezari obtained her Medical Degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. She completed her transitional year internship at St John Providence Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Entezari’s interests and activities include swimming, hiking, traveling and watching movies.
Brian Goldner, MD
Dr. Brian Goldner was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He is the youngest of 3 boys, and the first person in his family to go to medical school. He studied at Emory as an undergrad and went to medical school at Johns Hopkins. He did his intern year in Portland. Brian has a young daughter and enjoys spending his free time with her.
Phillip Setran, MD
Dr. Phillip Setran obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Washington and his Medical Degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his transitional year internship at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. Phillip’s interests and activities include travel, cuisine, wine/beer, running, racquetball, opera, science fiction, and spending time with friends/family.
Nathan Wnuk, MD
Dr. Nathan Wnuk obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University in Canada and his Medical Degree from Duke-NUS in Singapore. He completed his surgery internship year at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL. Dr. Wnuk’s interests and activities include art, photography, mountain climbing, canoeing/kayaking, skiing and exploring the world.

Alexander Boscanin, MD
Alexander Boscanin, MD attended Canadian University College in Lacombe, Alberta, where he received a B.S. degree in Psychology. He received his M.D. degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. He completed an Internal Medicine preliminary year at Loma Linda Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. Dr. Boscanin enjoys surfing, traveling, food, and music.
Brendan Case, MD
Brendan Case, MD, attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA, where he received his B.S. degree in Integrative Physiology. He remained in Iowa City and received his M.D. degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He completed his transitional year at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Dr. Case enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, and golfing.
Csanad Varallyay, MD, PhD
Dr. Csanad Varallyay obtained his Medical Degree and PhD from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. After 3 years of neuroimaging research at OHSU, followed by 3 years of neuroradiology training in Würzburg, Germany, Dr. Varallyay returned to Portland to join the radiology residency program while continuing clinical research. His interests and activities include stereo photography, travel, hiking, kayaking and paragliding.
Dianna Howard, MD
Dianna Howard, MD, attended University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received a B.S and M.S in Electrical Engineering. She worked for 5 years at General Electric Healthcare in Milwaukee, WI where she designed hardware and software components for CT and ultrasound machines. She received her M.D. degree at University of Wisconsin and afterwards stayed to complete a preliminary surgery year. Dr. Howard enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, yoga, traveling, and exploring new food and cultures.
Alexei Ku, MD
Alexei Siddens Ku, MD, attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO, where he received a B.S. degree in Evolutionary Biology. He received his M.D. degree at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. His completed his intern year in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at OHSU. Dr. Ku enjoys cycling, rock climbing, river rafting, and playing guitar.
Thomas Vander Jagt, MD
Thomas Vander Jagt, MD, PhD, attended The University of Oregon, OR, where he received a B.S. degree in cognitive Psychology. He later received his PhD in biomedical research in Neuroscience from University of New Mexico Health Science Center with a post-doctorate position at LSUHSC in New Orleans. He received his M.D. degree at University of New Mexico HSC in Albuquerque. He completed his preliminary year in Internal Medicine at University of New Mexico. Dr. Vander Jagt enjoys home improvement projects, being outdoors for any activity with his wife and young son, eating too much and too often, making and recording music.
Peter White, DO
Peter White, DO attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas where he received a BA degree in Sociology and played shortstop for the baseball team. He received his DO degree from Rocky Vista University-College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, CO. He completed his intern year in Internal Medicine at Legacy Good Samaritan and Emanuel Medical Centers in Portland, OR. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Lyndsey and son Camden.
