Chris Aldrich, MD

Medical School: Creighton University School of Medicine

Hobbies: My interests include basketball, baseball, football, hiking, camping, fishing, movies and politics.

 

Anila Balakrishnan, MD

Medical School : Wayne State University School of Medicine

Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy practicing yoga, leisure reading, running, cooking, shopping, and spending time with friends  and family. I have also recently started to try my hand at calligraphy.

 

Nicole Conrad, MD

School of Medicine: Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine

Hobbies: I am photographer, particularly of my growing nieces and nephews. Reading for pleasure is one of my favorite pastimes. Since age 3 I have been an avid downhill skier and spent many summers on Lake Washington and Chelan boating and water-skiing. I love to cook, bake and explore new restaurants and diverse types of food. My greatest passion and where I spend most of my time is with my family and friends, whether camping, hiking or simply sharing a meal.

 

Oumou Diallo, MD

Hobbies: My interests include traveling, cooking, writing, jogging and watching soccer.

 

Omar Halawa, MD

Hobbies: My interests include playing the Oud (Turkish stringed instrument), playing the piano, traveling, socializing with friends and family, running, weightlifting and playing soccer.

 

Cherie Long, MD

Hobbies: My interests include running marathons, swimming, hiking, family, dogs, living and traveling overseas, and Cystic Fribrosis.

 

Joe Mahoney, MD

Medical School:  Sanford School of Medicine of the University of South Dakota

Hobbies: Outdoor recreation is a passion of mine. Mountain biking, running,hiking, and, most recently, fly-fishing are my preferred activities. I have competed in numerous 5k races and sprint triathlons. Music is another outlet that is an important part in my life. I have played acoustic guitar for twelve years for both personal enjoyment and public performance. I enjoy reading both for pleasure and to stay informed on current events. Other sources of joy in my life are drawing, traveling, and my family.

 

Ross Martini, MD

Hobbies: My interests include road biking and bike maintenance, furniture restoration, tailoring, marine aquariums, skiing, and snowboarding.

 

Camille Rice, MD

Hobbies: My interests are running, photography and sewing.

 

Katie Seligman, MD

Hobbies: My interests include playing hockey, soccer, volleyball, reading, cake decorating, sky diving, history of medicine and foreign films.

 

Jarret Skirball, MD

Hobbies: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I enjoy going for walks with our dog, working in our garden and having friends over for dinner. I used to play tennis competitively, but now have more fun playing with friends. My newest interest is surfing.

Hobbies: My hobbies and interests include hiking, SCUBA diving, rock climbing, mountaineering, music (performing and listening), camping, reading, building models, history, pop culture, and traveling.

 

TeSha English, MD

Medical School: SUNY Upstate Medical University

Hobbies: I maintain a healthy life balance by maintaining my interests, which include horseback riding, traveling, health and fitness, reading, hiking, movie going, karaoke, dancing (salsa), and relaxing with family and friends. 

 

Matt Healy, MD

Hobbies: My interests include road biking, cyclocross, bird-watching, and cooking, especially fish!

Hobbies: I enjoy running & marathon training, cycling, scuba diving, indoor rock climbing, squash, black and white film photography, and traveling.

 

Diana Kim, MD

Medical School: University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine

Hobbies: I love music and have been teaching myself Grieg's piano concerto in A-minor. I recently took up gardening, and invested in my first topsy-turvy with 5 different varieties of tomatoes! I adore good grinds (aka food), having fun, and cooking; so, to all you Korean food-loving rice-craving adventurous folks out there:  It's Pau Hana time!

Hobbies:  My interests are in live music, rock climbing, snowshoeing, being a foodie.

Hobbies: My interests include gardening, hiking, walking/exploring the city, learning to cook, becoming a proper baseball fan, reading, volunteering in the community, and reconnecting with family.

 

Katrin Post-Martens, MD

Hobbies: I enjoy physical activity, particularly circuit training, running and swimming—which is good since I married a personal trainer. I also like to travel and experience different cultures.

 

Beth Raecker, MD

Hobbies: I enjoy films with witty dialogue or "fresh" cinematography. I love foods of all types - but my love for eating transcends necessity and rises to an enthusiast's level.

Hobbies: My interests include travel, culinary arts, photography, good novels, SCUBA diving and spending time with my wife, Stacey, sons, Kieran and Keegan, and our two rescue dogs, Lucky and Jock.

 

 

Michael Wollenberg, MD

Critical Care Chief Resident 

Medical School: University of Arizona College of Medicine

Hobbies: Music has played an important role in my life. Initially, I learned to play the saxophone as a child. I gave up the sax for the guitar in college, but continue to be an avid music fan and wannabe musician. Computers remain a hobby of mine. When time permits, I enjoy programming and building computers, my latest projects is a homebuilt DVR. I exercise daily, and enjoy playing racquetball with friends. I also enjoy landscape photography, and have completed in local competitions.
