Steven Cheng, PhD, is currently a Partner at Dilts + Partners, LLC, a firm dedicated to reducing the time required to open and run clinical research trials, addressing drug development barriers, and fostering translational medicine opportunities. His research interests are in process modeling/simulation, supply chain networks, and decision making within healthcare operations. His current research focus investigates the barriers to the development and conduct of oncology clinical trials at the National Cancer Institute and Comprehensive Cancer Centers across the country.
He has previously conducted research and consulted in a diverse set of industries ranging from healthcare, defense, and communication sectors. His work has been published and featured in a number peer-reviewed journals and national conferences including Institute of Medicine, JAMA Internal Medicine, Academic Medicine, American Society of Clinical Oncology, J. of Clinical Oncology, Clinical Cancer Research, and IEEE.
Dr. Cheng received both his undergraduate in Electrical Engineering / Management of Technology and his PhD degree in Systems Engineering - both at Vanderbilt University.
