Larry Wasserman received his undergraduate degree in Psychology (1975) and his graduate degree in Health Care Fiscal Management (1979) from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Larry's work experience includes, public accounting, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer positions, consulting and teaching. His business experience includes public offerings, numerous private equity offerings, debt financing, mergers, business plans, and financial planning and forecasting. His industry experience includes healthcare, technology, service and the non-profit sectors.
Larry's commitment to teaching began in college where he taught accounting for two years while in graduate school. Finance, operations, consulting and teaching have given Larry a well-rounded view of business and how accounting can best serve the organization. In his current consulting practice, Larry has developed his own curriculum and leads seminars for non-accounting professionals to make it easier to learn and use financial skills as managers, consultants and board members. He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels and led training on financial forecasting and budgeting for entrepreneurs. His teaching and consulting is dedicated to developing ways to make it easier for non-accountants to learn and apply financial skills.
